Armadillo Zen and Zebra Face, plus more!

These pictures were taken at Deer Park, a petting zoo in Jamestown, PA.

This was how we found the armadillos, I call it Armadillo Zen.  Moments after this picture was taken, an employee came up to us and said he could wake up the armadillos so we could see them walk around, to which I told him that would be unnecessary.  Didn’t matter, he still shook them…jerk.

This was a fun shot, I had to stick my hand in the fence to get it.  This is what you can’t see…

Note the sign with red letters; note the severely pissed-off look on the left Zebra’s face.

Ok, I was with kids 7 years and younger all day alone, I had to document this under appreciated moment.  A new meaning to blue balls, if I do say so myself.

And now the sadness… Since I was with a group of kids I watch, it was really great to see them have fun and enjoy the park, though I couldn’t help but feel heart-broken as I watched the animals practically begging for food through the fence from the guests…

I titled this one “Gimme Gimme Goats.”

And the black bears…I think the worst part about these fellas is that they’re begging for crackers. Yes, crackers.
